One way to roster, every store on board
Standardise rostering, onboarding and award pay across the network, give the franchisor oversight and every franchisee their independence, and keep award pay consistent under your brand. Free to start.

The same setup, every store
Roll out the same awards, roster templates and onboarding so every franchisee starts from the right baseline, not their own version of it.
Oversight without takeover
Share access across stores and scope each manager to their own site, so the franchisor gets visibility while every franchisee stays independent.
Award rules applied the same way, everywhere
Award pay is calculated the same way across the network, so how each store pays its people is consistent and something the brand can stand behind.
Consistent award rules
Award rules applied the same way at every store
Every store uses the same award engine, with rates loaded from Fair Work Commission data, covering penalties, allowances, overtime and age-based rates. Instead of each franchisee interpreting the award their own way, the whole network pays people consistently.

Oversight and access
Franchisor oversight, franchisee independence
Run stores as locations of one Shiftly business and scope each manager to their own store, or give each franchisee their own business and share access with head office. Franchisees run their own floor day to day, while the franchisor keeps the visibility to protect the brand.

Onboarding
New stores, up and running fast
The setup wizard seeds a working business in minutes, and paperless onboarding collects each new hire's account, bank, tax and super details and syncs them to Xero. New franchisees can import existing staff straight from Xero or a CSV, and our team helps load in anything exported out of Deputy.

Shift cover
No store left short
An empty section is a poor experience under your brand name, wherever it happens. Each store can mark a shift open and fill it from its own eligible staff. Soon, stores will be able to post the same shift to Shiftly On-Demand, where independent shifters accept it directly. You pay for the hours worked plus Shiftly's fee, with no agency markup, and because shifters work for themselves there is no payroll to run for the cover.
- Open shifts go to eligible staff at each store
- On-demand cover is coming soon

Payroll across the network
Timesheets from every store, in one place
How timesheets come together depends on how your stores are set up. Stores run as locations of one Shiftly business share one Xero organisation, so every store's approved timesheets post to the same Xero payroll, and one spreadsheet export lists every store with a location column. Independently owned stores each run their own Shiftly business with their own Xero file, and head office can be given access to each one with a single login.
- Approved timesheets post to Xero payroll
- One export across every location, Excel or CSV
- Cost centres pair with Xero tracking categories
- No per-employee fees at any store

Cost visibility
See labour cost, store by store
Each store tracks its labour cost with live reporting and can set budgets to catch an over-spend as it happens. Tag shifts by area or job and pair the tags with Xero tracking categories so the numbers flow straight into the books. Connect Square and each store's daily takings land beside its labour cost.
