Navigating to All Businesses
Start by navigating to host.shiftly.au/ or
- Open the account dropdown in the top-right corner of your dashboard
- Select ‘Account management’
- On the account management screen, press ‘All businesses’
Adding another business
If your organisation operates more than one business you can add this by navigating to the ‘All businesses’ screen.
- Navigate to ‘All businesses’ screen
- Click ‘Add business’ in the top-right corner
Step 1: Enter your Business Name
To get started, enter the name your business is recognised as under its ABN.
- Enter your Business name
- Click ‘Continue’
Step 2: Select your industry awards
Shiftly uses industry awards to ensure your business is set up correctly for compliance with Fair Work regulations. Awards help us determine:
- The correct hourly rates
- The employee’s level or classification
- The relevant stream or role type
Setting the correct award now avoids pay errors and ensures Shiftly can calculate rates and shifts correctly from the start.
To complete this step:
- Select the industry awards that cover your workforce
- Click ‘Continue’
⚠️ As the host, you're responsible for selecting the correct award. If the wrong award is applied, you may be held legally accountable for underpayment or misclassification.
👉 Not sure which award applies to your business?
Use the Fair Work Ombudsman’s Award Finder to check. If you’re still unsure, speak with your bookkeeper or accountant before proceeding.
Step 3: Add your venue’s physical location
Shiftly requires your venue’s primary address to complete your account setup. This location will automatically be named after your business. You can edit it later from your location profile via ‘Locations’ tab if needed.
To complete this step:
- Select your timezone
- Enter your street address
- Fill in your suburb, state, and postcode
- Click ‘Continue’
